Many developed countries including some developing countries are employing technical barrier of trade(TBT) to protect domestic industries. This article analyses the promoting effect to industry by TBT, based on the framwork of new geography ecocomics. TBT will change the producing cost of export manufacture, and then affect the investment decision. Finially the domestic industry development will be intervened.
