The policy practice and theoretical research of digital economy development have a certain linkage. From 2000 to 2012, the development of digital economy showed a trend of "theory following policy"; after the 18th Party Congress in 2012, hot topics such as platform economy and digital economy began to lead the policy practice. The interaction between the two has become more active and effective. The Bibliometric analysis results show that the frequency of digital economy words after the 19th Party Congress reached 536, 16.75 times more than that of 2013-2017; the centrality also increased from 0.18 to 0.32, and the relevance and expansion of digital economy research has been significantly enhanced. Platform economy, digital economy, digital trade, Internet economy, and sharing economy are the key nodes in the research field. Combined with the policy evolution and theoretical research lineage of China''s digital economy development, it can be expected that digital economy, digital trade and digital finance will maintain a high level of research enthusiasm, and digital economy and high-quality development and digital security will attract more attention. Policies and regulations related to digital economy, digital finance and digital trade will also become the focus of policies in the next phase.
