Abstract:With its rapid economic growth, China has become the world''s largest exporter and the world''s second largest importer. Previous studies on China''s trade mostly started from the supply side. However, from the demand side, what is the impact of China''s import on the world economy? In this paper, under the background of expanding import strategy from the perspective of global manufacturing employment on imports of Chinese relations with the world economy has carried on the empirical analysis, the study found that, based on China''s export, related manufacturing employment to achieve positive growth of the country, but will be in different trade goods, the relationship between economic development and sample time is different. On this basis, this paper further from the employment creation and employment destruction and other aspects of mechanism analysis. The research of this paper shows that China has reduced the global unemployment rate to a certain extent through its role as a "world market", but we also need to be vigilant about the impact of "import competition" on our economy.
