Improving the resilience and safety of industrial and supply chains is a basic requirement for promoting high-quality development. Based on the existing research, the resilience of the industrial and supply chains can be defined as the ability of the industrial chain and supply chain to avoid breakage and recover quickly in the face of major emergencies or external shocks. The resilience of industrial and supply chain is often closely related to its security development. Methodology to improve the resilience and safety of industrial and supply chains should be grasped scientifically, and the right way to improve the resilience and safety of industrial and supply chains should be found with concept and policy thinking of Chinese modernization. More attention should be paid to the enabling role of deepening industrial convergence development, and fostering the highlights to improve the resilience and safety of industrial and supply chains.
