This paper combines the automotive industry with the innovation ecosystem, summarizes the factors that affect the evolution of innovation ecosystem in China"s auto industry from the perspectives of Innovation subjects, innovation resources, and the external innovation environment. The seven factors including economy, government, market, natural resources, talent, technology and capital are selected to measure indicators, and industrial data from 2006 to 2017 are collected. Principal component regression method is used to analyze the impact of factors on the evolution of the industrial ecosystem. The results show that the three main influencing factors affecting the system evolution are: market economy, talent support, and government support, and the degree of influence is talent support, market economy, and government support.
