Based on the literature review, the paper, by using the economic and sociological methods, explores the quantitative study on the issue of wage income in Fujian tea industry from gender perspective. The results indicate that the impacts of education and training on wage income are insignificant, the impacts of gender are indirect, and the factor of area has direct impacts on the wage income of the said industry in Fujian. The results have policy implications.
