With the reforms in recent 3 years, there are a lot of change taking in the Chinese electricity industry, meantime, many problems, e.g. shortage of electricity power, growth of power price, out-of-order construction of electricity projects and so on. From the grid construction perspective, we think that integration of transmission and distribution of electricity after the separation of grid from generation, leads to the lag of the grid development, and responsibly discourage the progress of electricity reforms, and results in the problems in electricity. In the last part, we list some advice for the development of the grid in China.
