Abstract:This thesis used the 317 household survey data of Zhejiang province of China to set up a Logit model to study factors affecting the availability of credit for farmers. The results showed that suburb farmers, younger farmers, richer farmers and farmers who were members of co -op could get credit more easily. Farm income played a more important role in whether farmers get credit or not than age. Sex, education, offfarm experience, labor, education fee, total income, hectare tilled, income source were insignificant.
