The growth evaluation models of SMEs include single index system and composite index system from the aspect of index system， and objective method and subjective-objective method from the aspect of evaluation method. Based on the analysis of existing ones， the paper points out that with the aid of modern computer technology， the PCA model can be used to comprehensively evaluate the growth of SMEs， and then the evaluation conclusion can be gained.
