Based on the researches on information appraisal system， basic development conditions of rural e-commerce in China and considering the accessibility and usability of related statistical data， the paper attempts to set up a rural e-commerce appraisal indicator system in order to e valuate and compare the levels of rural e-commerce development by provinces. And to provide certain policy-making basis for the development of rural e-commerce.
