Abstract:This research systematically investigated the relationships of dispositional determinants with personal entrepreneurial intentions. By surveying 560 individuals, we found that achievement motivation, competitiveness and value for money are significant determinants of entrepreneurial intention for women. Moreover, the results showed that the proposed connections between autonomy and risk taking and personal entrepreneurial intention did not achieve statisticalsignificance at 0.05 levels. On the other hand, risk taking and value for money are significant determinants of entrepreneurial intention for men, and the relationships of achievement motivation, autonomy and competitiveness with individual entrepreneurial intention predicted in the hypotheses were not supported by the empirical results.
