The study of interface management across administrative regions is of great significance to achieve the goal of collaboration and improve collaborative performance. This paper mainly studies the types, causes and strategies of interface barriers of collaborative innovation across administrative regions. The results show that, from the perspective of collaborative innovation evolution and collaborative mechanism, the interface of cross-regional collaborative innovation can be divided into two types: internal and external. The interface formed by collaborative innovation across administrative regions mainly has the forms of system, knowledge, technology, transaction, organization and management. The paper proposes to build a collaborative innovation platform to solve the interface barrier of cross-administrative region collaborative innovation, and designs the platform form, structure and operation mechanism.
