Innovation and green development have become the strategic choice of China"s economic development in the new era. The development of modern agriculture also needs to achieve innovation-driven and endogenous growth, especially in economically developed areas, which urgently need to speed up the transformation and development of green economy in the agricultural field. Beijing’s agricultural economic innovation and green development are not only the inevitable choice to optimize the pattern of agricultural development and cultivate new agricultural economic growth points, but also provide valuable experience for exploring the mode of agricultural economic transformation and development in the whole country. Through field investigation, expert interviews and other forms, combined with the statistical yearbook data of Beijing, this paper studied the current status of agricultural economic transformation in Beijing, which clarified the significance of the transformation of the green development of Beijing’s agricultural economy, analyzed the achievements and challenges of the transformation and development of the agricultural economy, and put forward some suggestions for further development. The paper provided references for the transformation of the green development of the agricultural economy in the developed areas of China, especially in Beijing area.
