Promoting coordinated regional development is an important way?to achieve common prosperity for all. In recent years, notable advances had been made in coordinated regional development in China. The level and quality of coordinated regional development have been significantly improved. However, there are still wide gaps in regional development in China, and uncoordinated regional development takes on new features and manifestations. From a spatial point of view, common prosperity for all means prosperity in both urban and rural areas, that is, whole region common prosperity. Under the new circumstances, we should face the Chinese modernization and common prosperity for all, take the high-quality coordinated regional development as the keynote, strengthen the strategic coordination of regional coordinated development, and seek new strategic measures for whole region common prosperity. According to the requirements of thoughtfully-designed policies and targeted measures, we should reconstruct the basic framework of national regional policies, research and formulate development policies in underdeveloped area, and finally establish the regional policy system with unified regulations and classified management.
