Abstract:Servitization is an important direction for the high-quality development of manufacturing transformation and upgrading. The state attaches great importance to the pilot work of service-oriented manufacturing and promotes the innovative development of service-oriented manufacturing. The existing researches focus on the influence of internal factors and external market factors on the service performance of manufacturing enterprises, but pay little attention to the promoting role of pilot policy factors. Based on the list of the first and second batch of service-oriented manufacturing pilot enterprises published by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology in 2017 and 2018 respectively, panel data of 200 listed manufacturing enterprises with service characteristics in Zhejiang Province, including pilot enterprises, were selected for 2013-2019. To examine the influence of service-oriented manufacturing pilot policies on enterprise service performance. It is found that the implementation of service-oriented manufacturing pilot policy has a significant positive impact on the improvement of service performance of manufacturing enterprises, and theoretically, the enterprise reputation brought by the pilot may further enhance this improvement effect. In addition, the impact of pilot policies on service performance is characterized by heterogeneity, and its net impact increases with the continuation of pilot policies. The specific performance is that from the first year of the pilot to the third year of the pilot, the improvement speed of enterprise service performance has increased year by year. The implementation effect of the service-oriented manufacturing pilot policy in Zhejiang Province has been effectively verified, which provides inspiration for the formulation, implementation and improvement of the service-oriented manufacturing pilot policy in China.
