On the basis of clearly defining the connotation of high-quality economic development, this paper establishes an evaluation index system of high-quality economic development, which? includes five dimensions of effcient supply, high-quality demand, coordinated equity, green development, economic security and openness. According to the index system, we dynamically analyzes the situation of high-quality development of China"s regional economy as well as the differences among regions and provinces between 2011 and 2021. The study finds that: our country"s high-quality development situation continued to improve as a whole; on the perspective of region, the high-quality development of various regions has steadily improved in sync, with the eastern region performing better than the central, northeast and western regions, and the western region urgently needing to catch up with other regions.
