One of the important driving forces for high-quality economic development and industrial transformation and upgrading is to promote cluster-based high-quality entrepreneurship and promote the development of local entrepreneurship ecology in a more distinctive and sustainable direction. The active incubator plays an important role in this process. This paper takes Hongtai as the object to carry out a case study, and analyzes how the incubator promotes the evolution of entrepreneurship ecosystem. The research found that: (1) The evolution process of the entrepreneurial ecosystem includes three stages: accidental link, local integration and integrated linkage. Correspondingly, the incubator includes three stages: trial and selection, resource acquisition and model design, and cross-regional integration. The incubator faces different strategic conflicts at different stages; (2) It analyzes the specific mechanism of the three ambidextrous capacity of structure, environment and leadership, and summarizes the interaction between them. The research results of this paper are helpful to explain how incubators promote the evolution of entrepreneurship ecosystem, and deepen the research on the coupling architecture model between ambidextrous capacity.
